The Polk County Gun Club is accepting participants for its Spring 2017 Trap League. This light hearted entertaining “Competition” is open to all - members, guests, visitors, young, old, veteran shooters, newbies right straight of the box, anybody willing to try. The only requirement is you want to shoot trap and hopefully break some targets. It consists of 300 scored targets, i.e. 12 25 target rounds, ATA scoring and SAFETY rules apply. If you do not know them do not worry we’ll teach you.

The “Competition” starts Saturday March 4th and terminates Saturday May 27th. You can shoot anytime the trap fields are open, the only stipulation is you must declare your targets before you shoot and have a "referee" sign and date your score sheet. There are classes for both 12 and 20 gauge, you can “Compete” in either or both. There is a signup sheet on the upper trap field. We are looking forward to seeing you at the club.
