Smallbore Silhouette
|
|
Official Smallbore Silhouette matches have begun and will
continue on the second Saturday of every month. After the
regular match, We will have a "LONG RANGE SILHOUETTE" shoot.
This consists of chickens at 80 meters, pigs at 120 meters,
turkeys at 154 meters, and rams at 200 meters. Rifles will
be .22 long rifle, any sight, with no bipods but slings are
OK. Chickens and pigs will be shot sitting, turkeys and rams
from prone. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners, along
with a set voluntary "jugs" where a competitor puts a buck
or so in jug for first and last, high number, etc. (similar
to carp fishing contests.) Any jug not won one month is carried
over, so there is a chance of a nice prize. Details on the
Smallbore Silhouette page.
